Summer Induction Weekend

Attention all Scouts and Scouters: coming up on the second weekend in August, Coosa will be offering a Summer Induction Weekend. This weekend is for those who have been elected by their peers to go through the Induction process within the last 2 years.

Service for this event will include preparing for the 2024 Fall Camping Season and wrapping up any projects to conclude Comer’s 2024 Summer Camping Season.

The two major projects of the weekend will be:

1.- Removing all bunk beds from the staff cabins to begin painting and other necessary maintenance. If you have cordless drill/drivers, painting tools, or shop vacuums, please bring them with you.

2.- Deep cleaning all A-Frame Cabins in Camp Jacobs to prepare for renovations and facility maintenance. If you have shop vacuums or other specialty cleaning tools, please bring them with you.
